Job Title: Sales Executive
Reports to: Admissions Manager
Job description:
The role of the Sales Executive is to primarily ensure that student recruitment and enrolment targets for the business are met. This generally involves taking initial enquiries, pro-actively managing the student contact database and guiding students through the process from enquiry to enrolment.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Receiving and processing new enquiries. These may arrive from various sources, e.g. internet, telephone, post, in person, etc.
- Following-up enquiries by phone, email, post etc.§ Providing correct course advice and information about the ICMP
- Booking student assessments/auditions
- Conducting post assessment meetings with students
- Record keeping and information management of all prospective students
- Accurately following correct processes for enrolment across the course portfolio
- Matching applications with course offers and place availability
- Liaising with other departments as and when necessary.
- Administrative management of all sales activities
- Collection of correct course fee Other duties as assigned by the Admissions Manager as and when required.
Other Comments:
The Sales Executive is a member of the internal Admissions team. The successful applicant will have previous sales experience with a proven track record. They will posses excellent sales and communication skills, be a confident self-starter who is disciplined and organised and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Experience in both telephone and face-to-face sales would be preferable, as well as a keen interest in modern music and musicianship. In addition to normal sales duties, the job holder may be assigned sales-related promotional work such as school liaison, trade shows, careers fairs, presentations etc.

Job Title: Academic Administration Supervisor
Reports to: Administration Manager
Principal Responsibilities:
As part of our ongoing expansion, the Institute is recruiting for an Academic Administration Supervisor with a range of responsibilities including:
- Line management/supervision of the Degree administration team who support the ICMP's BMus and FdA programmes
- communicating with and supporting students
- maintaining the student database and paper records
- producing and distributing course materials
- managing registers and monitoring attendance
- providing administrative support for exams and moderations
- liaising with programme leaders and external partners
- assisting with inductions and graduations
- undertaking day-to-day administrative requirements
- creating and managing class and exam timetables and room bookings
- processing tutor absence and tutor deputy forms.
The successful applicant will work closely with other members of the wider administration and academic departments as well as with external partners and will therefore possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. They will possess drive and initiative and will be disciplined and highly organised in their approach to their duties. They will be proficient using database software and programmes within the Microsoft Office suite. They must be empathetic towards young people as the role involves significant levels of student contact. Ideally they will have some direct academic administrative experience working within the Higher Education sectors as well as some direct line management or supervision experience.
Other Comments:
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a successful CRB check.Salary range is £26,000 to £29,000 depending on experience.

Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Principal Responsibilities:
The role of the Marketing Assistant is to provide support for the marketing team in ensuring that the day-to-day marketing requirements of the school are met. The job holder will provide support to all members of the marketing team and work in areas including brand, advertising, website, social networking, research, events and promotions.
Events & Promotions
- Providing support in promotion and execution of Institute exhibitions and events such as masterclasses, trade shows and Graduation.
- Overseeing execution of internal industry auditions.
- Ensuring promotions reach required databases.
- Assisting with creation of weekly/monthly email newsletters.
Website Maintenance/Social Networking
- Updating news, events and course information on the Institute website using Content Management System.
- Updating all relevant information on the Institute student website.
- Updating and monitoring the Institute Intranet.
- Monitoring, updating and building social networking channels, such as YouTube, MySpace and Facebook.
Marketing Analysis & Research
- Weekly analysis of website, digital enquiries and search engine statistics.
- Research of viable outlets for marketing materials and advertising.
- Internal research into students’ thoughts and habits including usage of Institute website, email/social networking marketing and internally promoted events.
- Reviewing advertising and promotions of the Institute and its competitors.
Database Management
- Updating details and adding contacts to our company database.
- Updating details and adding contacts to our newsletter database.
- Updating details and adding contacts to our alumni database.
Administrative Support
- Management of marketing materials.
- Ordering and maintaining stationary.
- Maintaining appearance of promotional materials.
Other duties may be assigned by the Marketing Manager as required.
Skills required:
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- The ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills.
- Familiarity with web and social networks
- Self motivation.
- The ability to be a team player.
- Some knowledge/experience of marketing useful but not essential

Salary range is £16,000 to £18,000 depending on experience.
