As a musician it is extremely important that you understand the importance of maintaining your instrument.  You should perform maintenance on your instrument on a regular basis and this will ensure more consistency and quality of sound.  The Basstech™ 1-Day Maintenance Course is designed to teach you the skills needed to maintain your bass to a high standard.

Basstech's one day course will show you how to set up and run essential maintenance on your bass.  The class is delivered in partnership with Charlie Chandlers Guitar Experience, the UK’s leading guitar shop. Learn the basics of bass guitar maintenance and keep your beloved instrument great to play and in tune!

This course will cover topics including:

• How to re-string your instrument
• Checking for fret buzz
• Truss rod and neck adjustment
• Setting the intonation
• Setting the action (string height)
• Setting the pickup height
• How to maintain your instrument
