The ICMP counts on a broadcast quality recording studio, with live performance rooms connected for audio and video recording, for exclusive use by ICMP students. The live room is linked to the control room by a Roland Digital Snake, providing 16 high quality channels, and the control room is fully equipped with the necessary gear including a Yamaha digital desk and G5 running Logic. It also houses outboard by Lexicon, Line 6 and TL Audio.

This facility is not only used for teaching on certain courses, it is also available free of charge to all full-time students for recording their own demo material. And if you wish, you can train to become an authorised engineer!
